Radiesse®

Radiesse® is dermal filler made of calcium-based microspheres suspended in a water-based gel. The treatment adds volume to the skin to safely contour and correct facial features.

Radiesse is injected into the skin through a simple and minimally invasive procedure. The treatment takes only about 20 to 30 minutes, and can be completed during a normal lunch hour.

The results from this treatment are immediate. Even better, Radiesse continues to work over time. This treatment stimulates your body to produce new collagen and encourage collagen to grow within the injection area, effectively helping the body create its own naturally younger look. Radiesse is commonly used to re-create higher, fuller cheekbone areas, restoring the “apple” of the cheeks. It is also used in the naso-labial folds around the mouth and can be used to smooth out a “jowly” jaw line as well as to treat the “marionette” lines at the corners of the mouth.

For many patients, the results from Radiesse injections may last up to 18 months.
